Description

The TOMEI EXPREME Ti front pipe replaces the factory steel unit on RB26DETT-powered Nissan Skyline GT-R models (R32, R33, R34) with a full titanium design built for real weight savings without giving up durability.

Why Titanium

TOMEI sources and processes its own titanium in-house, which keeps quality high while controlling cost. The finished front pipe weighs just 6.6 lbs (3.0 kg) versus roughly 12.4 lbs (5.6 kg) for the factory steel pipe - a reduction of about 46%, cutting nearly 6 lbs from the exhaust path.

Built for Flow and Fitment

Main piping steps from 2.8 to 3.0 to 3.2 inches (70.0-80.5mm) at 1.2mm wall thickness, compared to the factory 2.4-2.8 inch (60.0-70.0mm) pipe at 2.0mm thickness - larger in diameter and lighter at the same time. Routing follows the stock body and driveline layout, keeping ground clearance level with the lowest point of the muffler despite the thicker piping, so no chassis modification is required.

Clamp-Band Joints

Sections are joined with TOMEI's clamp-band system instead of a conventional flange-and-bolt joint. It holds an airtight seal under high heat and vibration while saving additional weight, and pairs with a spring-and-hook connection that lets the pipe flex slightly to absorb movement.

Precision Titanium Welding

Titanium is notoriously difficult to weld - the shielding gas has to fully protect the joint from oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen while the metal is above 200 degrees C, or the weld turns brittle. TOMEI uses gas-lens shielding and back-sealed welding jigs to protect the joint from both sides, producing the silver/blue weld coloring that signals a defect-free joint that keeps its strength even after being bent 180 degrees.

When will my order be delivered?

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
