Where we have already improved on other components for improving speed, we turned to longevity of the sporty Civic with our Aluminum Expansion Tank.The Mishimoto 2017+ Honda Civic Type R Aluminum Expansion Tank removes the eyesore that is the conspicuously beige stock tank from the FK8?s engine bay replacing it with a sleek all aluminum design which looks more at home under the hood with the option for a color matching Rallye Red or stealthy black micro-wrinkle finish. Where the plastic tank is great for mass production, It's destined to fail with repeated heating and cooling cycles. Our expansion tank design will take the worry out of containing your coolant, and can stand up to the oven that is the Civic Type R?s engine bay. We have incorporated internal baffling within our tank to keep your coolant level during aggressive driving. The Mishimoto Aluminum Expansion Tank also includes a sight glass for quick visibility on fluid levels, and is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free install.

When will my order be delivered?

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
