The MagnaFlow 17169 MF/R Series 5 in. Round body is a purpose built competition muffler kit engineered to survive and perform in the most demanding high output race environments. Its design and durability have been proven through extensive real world race testing conducted in collaboration with Camburg Engineering and validated under aggressive competition conditions by Camburg Racing. Its straight through perforated core, stainless mesh wrap, and continuous roving high temperature insulation fill form a two stage packing system designed to maintain unrestricted flow under sustained heat and pressure while controlling the distracting NVH that slows drivers down, verified through professional testing by Camburg Racing. Single piece billet 304 stainless steel TIG welded end caps with integral V band flanges deliver uncompromising rigidity, leak proof reliability, and the kind of mechanical stability required for repeated wide open throttle abuse. The 16 gauge 304 stainless steel tubular body features internal expansion capability and 3 in. / 3 in. connections, enabling 17169 to handle extreme exhaust mass flow, shock loading, and high cycle thermal stress without fatigue or performance fade. Fully reversible, it integrates cleanly into diverse layouts where packaging, flow direction, and thermal management are critical. Professional installation is recommended, and users should verify compliance with local noise regulations. For installation, the kit includes keyed flanges for precise orientation and V-band clamps for a secure, repeatable seal. When will my order be delivered?

Delivery typically takes 1–4 business days. After placing your order, you will receive an email with shipping updates, tracking information, and any additional details needed to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
