Install instructions

This upgrades the Hondata FK8 fuel system to the fuel system plus. It includes an exhaust camshaft and larger injectors. The Hondata camshaft delivers 25% more fuel volume when teamed with the Hondata FK8 fuel system. This is done with a redesigned Direct Injection camshaft lobe. This camshaft is only designed to work with the Hondata fuel system DI pump. Use with other direct injection fuel pumps may damage the camshaft, the pump and engine.

The lift and duration of the exhaust valve lobes for this camshaft are stock, to give your Civic Type R (FK8 or FL5) or Integra-S (DE5), stock starting, idle and emissions.

The Hondata designed, US manufactured 1530cc fuel injectors deliver a spray pattern for great fuel atomisation with 41% more flow than a stock Civic Type R (either FK8 or FL5) or Integra-S injector. These injectors are calibrated at 100 BAR. Hondata has tested these injectors to over 600 HP on E85 650 hp on race fuel.

Initial quantities are limited. Please provide your Hondata Fuel System serial number when ordering.

When will my order be delivered?

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
