BORLA(r)'s CrateMuffler(r) is the world's first muffler purpose-built to optimize the sound & power of crate and custom built motors. The mufflers are directional. The outlet can be identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. This muffler is tuned for the Chevrolet Small Block 283/ 327/ 350 CID V8 engine family. The directional design provides the classic S-Type sound and will dramatically reduce, or eliminate drone on specified applications. Add resonator 400937 to attain the Touring sound. Muffler dimensions 2.25" Offset inlet/ 2.25" Offset Outlet, 4.35" x 9.10" Oval, 14" Long Body, 19" Overall Length. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit and best of all, BORLA(r) stands behind every CrateMuffler(r) with a Million-Mile Warranty. When will my order be delivered?

Delivery typically takes 1–4 business days. After placing your order, you will receive an email with shipping updates, tracking information, and any additional details needed to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
