Installation REQUIRES trimming rear valance of vehicle & bending hanger on Borla(r) muffler assemblies. Borla(r) is proud to present their exhaust systems for the Ford Explorer ST & Platinum models. Our Cat-Back(tm) systems have been specifically developed for the 3.0L V6 Hybrid engine with performance and sound in mind. The ATAK(r) Cat-Back(tm) system provides an aggressive, attention-grabbing sound without adding any drone inside the vehicle to ensure an enjoyable driving experience. The system contains a Merge X-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. This system features quad 4" bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, but is also available with black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Our exhaust is constructed using premium T-304 stainless steel and bolts on to the factory system for stress-free installation. When will my order be delivered?

Delivery typically takes 1–4 business days. After placing your order, you will receive an email with shipping updates, tracking information, and any additional details needed to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
