Description

The AEM 22-506B Performance Short Ram Air Intake System has been engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this AEM air intake system which was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Acura RSX Type-S models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The sound your engine makes when accelerating is also modified to a fuller, more aggressive resonance allowing you to hear and feel the horsepower upgrade. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable blue powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the intake air temperature sensor, intake air bypass thermal valve vacuum hose and crankcase breather tube. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. When will my order be delivered?

Can I return my product?

Orders may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of receiving the parcel, provided the items are in their original, resalable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error made by Gearhead Motoring, in which case we will cover all shipping costs. Please wait for an RMA number and return instructions before sending any item back. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

What can I do if my item (or part of it) is damaged?

Damaged Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, whether visible upon delivery or discovered after opening the package, please follow these steps immediately:

Contact Gearhead Motoring as soon as possible and submit a damage claim at shipping@gearheadmotoring.com
Keep all original packaging materials, including the box and packing materials.
Make a list of any damaged or missing items.
Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and the affected products.
If the delivery driver cannot wait for an inspection, or does not allow you to inspect the shipment, write "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing and ask the driver to acknowledge it.

Once we receive the required information, Gearhead Motoring will work directly with the shipping carrier and arrange a pickup if necessary. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization and an RMA number from Gearhead Motoring.

After the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the item will be replaced, or if a refund or store credit will be issued.

Important: By signing and accepting a freight shipment, you may waive your right to file a damage claim for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. We strongly recommend inspecting all freight shipments upon arrival, even if the outer packaging appears to be in good condition.
